Dr. Dummer participated in Canadian Public Health Association annual conference

Public Health 2017 is a national forum where public health professionals, researchers, policy-makers, academics, and students come together to strengthen efforts to improve health and well-being, share the latest research and information, promote best practices, and advocate for public health issues and policies grounded in research.

On Monday, June 5, Dr. Trevor Dummer presented on the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project. He was also a co-author on five poster presentations at the conference:

  • Cohort profile: The Atlantic Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health (Atlantic PATH) study

  • Sleep and obesity in the Atlantic PATH cohort

  • Fruit and vegetable intake and obesity among populations in Eastern Canada: The Atlantic PATH study

  • A comparison of physical activity and sitting time correlates among Atlantic Canadians with and without a history of cancer

  • Association between physical activity and self-rated health in Atlantic Canadians
